HDR Examples and Notes







I really like these photos because you see every aspect of them. The almost don't look real but they are which to me is very cool. I really like the first photo where the bridge is reflected in the water. I also really like how the sky looks in the photos. The clouds and colors are so unique and interesting. 

HDR Notes

  • HDR stands for high dynamic range
  • Method allows you to increase the dynamic range by merging different exposures of a same scene
  • HDR uses a set of bracketed images and dedicated software.
  • Photomatix is the leading software 
  • HDR doesn't have to look artificial or fake
  • Must use a tripod to stabilize
